AdmitJunction

Terms of service

Last updated October 18, 2026

The short version

  • Admit Junction helps you estimate college costs, plan deadlines, read aid letters and draft appeals. Its numbers are estimates. Colleges decide admission and aid, not us.
  • Addie is an AI assistant. It can be wrong, so check anything important with the college or an official source.
  • You must be 13 or older. Students under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.
  • The paid plan is $29 a month or $299 a year, with a 14-day free trial on your first subscription. It renews automatically until you cancel in Settings.
  • You own what you put in. You can download it or delete your account at any time.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Admit Junction ("we", "us"). By creating an account, or by using the site without one, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf, and they are responsible for your use of the service.

What Admit Junction does

Admit Junction is software for planning how to pay for college. It estimates what colleges may cost your family, helps you build and rank a list of schools, tracks deadlines, reads financial aid letters you upload, and helps you draft aid appeal letters. Addie, our AI assistant, answers questions about all of this.

We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove something that is part of a paid plan you are using, we will tell you first.

Estimates, not promises

  • Cost, aid and fit figures are estimates built from public data (such as the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard), the colleges' own published information, and what you tell us. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong.
  • Colleges alone decide admission and financial aid. We do not guarantee admission, any amount of aid, or the result of an appeal.
  • We are not your financial adviser, lawyer, tax preparer or school counselor, and nothing in the service is financial, legal or tax advice.
  • We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any college, the U.S. Department of Education or Federal Student Aid. Always confirm deadlines, prices and aid terms with the college or the official source before you rely on them.

Using Addie

  • Addie's replies are written automatically by AI, without a person reviewing them first. They can be inaccurate or incomplete, even when they sound confident.
  • Read anything Addie drafts for you, such as an appeal letter, before you send it. You are responsible for what you send to a college.
  • Don't put other people's sensitive information into the chat unless you have the right to share it.
  • How Addie uses your information is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

  • You must be 13 or older to create an account.
  • Students aged 13 to 17 can use their account only after a parent or guardian consents by email.
  • You can try the chat on our home page without an account. These terms still apply when you do.

Your account

  • Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it.
  • An account is for one person. Don't share it or sell it.
  • If you invite a parent, counselor or advisor through Connect, they see the sections you share until you remove their access. You are responsible for choosing whom to invite.

Plans, trials and billing

  • There is a free plan with limits, and a paid plan that removes them. The paid plan costs $29 a month or $299 a year, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies.
  • Your first paid subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. You enter a payment card when you start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged the plan price on the day it ends. Later subscriptions on the same account start without a trial.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year, and your card is charged at each renewal, until you cancel.
  • Cancel at any time in Settings, then Billing, then Manage subscription. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for (or the end of your trial), and you are not charged again.
  • Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
  • If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies to you. A new price takes effect at your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then.
  • If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it is resolved.

Refunds

Payments are not refundable, and we do not give credit for part of a month or year you don't use, except where the law requires it. If you think we charged you by mistake, email support@admitjunction.com within 30 days of the charge and we will look into it.

Your information and content

  • You own what you put into Admit Junction: your profile, documents, letters and messages.
  • You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when your content is deleted.
  • If you choose to share an aid offer anonymously, you allow us to use the anonymized version (with your GPA and income turned into ranges) to show other families what colleges have offered.
  • You can download your data or delete your account at any time in Settings. When you delete your account, it is closed at once and its data is permanently erased after 30 days.
  • If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without paying you or owing you anything.

Things you must not do

  • Break the law, or use the service to harm, harass or deceive anyone, including a college.
  • Upload documents that aren't yours to share, or impersonate someone else.
  • Try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or probe, disrupt or overload our systems.
  • Scrape the service, or use bots or automated tools to access it, except through features we provide for that.
  • Copy, resell or rebuild the service or its data as a competing product.
  • Try to make Addie produce harmful content, or get around our limits and security.

Our property

The service, including its software, design, text, the Admit Junction name and logo, and Addie, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it as these terms allow, but you may not copy, modify or distribute it without our written permission. Public data we display, such as College Scorecard figures, stays subject to its own terms.

Other services

The service relies on, and links to, services run by others, such as Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and college websites. We are not responsible for those services, and their own terms apply when you use them.

Suspending or ending your account

  • You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or that the law requires us to close. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to download your data first.
  • If we close your account because you broke these terms, we do not owe a refund. If we close it for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of a period you paid for.
  • If we ever shut down the service, we will tell you in advance and refund the unused part of any paid period.

Disclaimers

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or right for your purpose, and we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some places don't allow these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed deadline, an admission or aid decision, or a lost opportunity, that come from using or relying on the service. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem with the service, email support@admitjunction.com first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly that way.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we can't resolve informally will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court instead, where it qualifies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change matters, we will tell signed-in users by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account. The date at the top shows the latest version.

General

  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
  • If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else. We may transfer them if the business is sold or reorganized, and we will tell you if that happens.
